Dr. M. Udaia Kumar

Non-Executive Chairman

Dr. Udaia Kumar has pioneered the concept of Microfinance in India and has founded leading Microfinance Institutions such as SHARE Microfin Limited. He is a first generation entrepreneur dedicating his 30+ years of service for the development of financial inclusion programs. He has deep insight into the Indian rural demographics having seen various microfinance cycles.

He holds a Masters in Business Administration and has been trained in Development Studies from Selly Oak College, University of Birmingham, UK and in Microfinance from the Economics Institute Boulder, University of Colorado. He has provided extensive technical training and consultancy services to MFIs & FIs in India and Southeast Asia working with Asian Development Bank, World Bank (CGAP) and Australian Government (Aus-Aid). He was a member of CII-Banking Committee and a member of the committee constituted by Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India to review the status of Housing Finance in India. He is a member of the Pre-budget consultations Committee headed by the Union Finance Minister. He is the recipient of several awards, including the “Lifting up the World with Oneness–Heart” award presented by the U.N Peace Foundation in New York City, “Change Makers Award” by Dr. Reddy’s Foundation, and “Excellency in Micro Credit” award presented by the Rockefeller Foundation and GF-USA for his pioneering contribution in the field of development finance and financial inclusion.

Ms. Sucharitha


Ms. Sucharitha holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Biola University, California, United States. She has adequate functional experience in strategic planning, Information technology and financial services. Ms. Sucharitha has been trained through various courses, workshops and seminars offered by prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School, ACCION, WWB, EDA Rural Systems, CGAP and the Reserve Bank of India.

Ms. Akhila


Ms. Akhila has worked on projects involving capacity building trainings and strengthening of internal institutional processes to enable teams to enhance performance. She is an MBA graduate with an exposure to international business and trained in management techniques to ensure smooth rollout of business policies. She has been involved in devising marketing techniques for organizations to strategize their offerings and reach out to their target clients.

Mr. Indrajit Kowsik


Mr. Kowsik holds commerce degree from Osmania University and professionally he is a qualified as a Chartered Accountant and also a Cost Accountant. Totally he has 22 years of rich experience in Manufacturing, banking (4 years experience in FX treasury operations of the ICICI Bank) and NBFC industries covering all fields of accounting, finance, MIS, treasury, taxation and other statutory compliances.

Mr. K. Sarath


Mr. Sarath is an educationist with experience in formulating and assessing policies to ensure efficient functioning of processes. His qualifications include MA, M.Ed. and MSc. He has worked closely with educational institutions to strengthen management policies and procedures. He has been involved in development programs for youth enabling them to enhance their personality traits. He has experience in management and making strategic decisions to give a sense of direction and guidance to teams helping them to structurally work towards proposed plans.
